NUI APS
NUI is an association for social advancement formed by a culturally diverse group of young people with high scale professional background, sharing a common vision, which is to promote and to facilitate cultural interaction and development through different art forms and communication methods.
NUI was established to combine the experiences of professionals from filmmaking, journalism, performing arts, environmental and humanitarian sector.
We strongly believe in the power of active and experimental learning. What makes NUI unique is its capacity and hunger to reach through all forms of communication (filmmaking, theatre, journalism, and different arts). Operating as a production company/editing house we organised workshops, productions, seminars, and experiences dedicated to implement and further communication skills aiming to
promote cultural integration, human rights, sustainability and other core values.
We are able to achieve positive results thanks to the ongoing collaboration we have with renowned local Universities, international institutes, and private companies. NUI is in the process to join the network of TDM2000 International, which is a network of 30 organizations from 23 different countries. The network is coordinating, directly implementing, supporting and disseminating activities and projects mainly in
the fields of Education and Training for Capacity Building, International Cooperation for Development and Mobility for Intercultural Learning





More then fifteen years of experience in the filmmakingbusiness as a director of photography, author and director working from major cinemaproductions such as Lord of the Rings and Avatar to film and video projects for thethird sector. Produced and directed various documentaries and reportages for Nationaland International television/ platforms aimed at raising public awareness of the workof the third sector and on topical issues and the value of volunteering.
Currently works as an author and director for the TV show “LE IENE” Mediaset, as afilmmaking professor at the LDM international Institute of Florence and as a directorat Swap Production Geneva Switzerland. Formed in Journalism at the University of La Sapienza in Rome (Italy) and Filmmaking at South Seas Film school of Auckland (New Zealand).

Martino Frongia

Elia
Volunteer, Facilitator, Project Manager.
His interests revolve around communication, mobility programmes, volunteerism, networking, non-formal education, and artistic expression—especially through music and theatre. Over the past three years, he’s been actively involved in the youth sector, facilitating Youth Exchanges and Training Courses, and previously spending a year abroad as a volunteer with the European Solidarity Corps. He’s hands-on when it comes to community work, from managing a clothes bank supporting vulnerable groups, to organizing theatre workshops, music activities, and English courses for local youth.Elia has also contributed as a civil service operator in the “Digital Future” project, helping people of all ages navigate public digital services, while supporting young people in finding opportunities abroad and raising awareness about regional and European programmes. Alongside his community work, he’s deeply engaged in the arts as an actor and musician with SartoriaCaronte APS, and is an active part of the Collinarea Festival del Suono, where he supports both logistics and performances. His creative journey has also taken him on tour across Italy.With a background in visual arts from the F. Russoli School.
