La Città che sale - percorsi di cittadinanza creativa giovanile

Quartu San't Elena, Italy

“La Città che sale - percorsi di cittadinanza creativa giovanile” is a year-long initiative launching in 2026 in Quartu Sant’Elena, designed to inspire and empower young people through creativity, participation, and civic responsibility. The project creates an open and inclusive space where youth can explore their talents, develop new skills, and actively engage with the social and cultural life of their community.

At its core, the program offers a series of free workshops in music, photography, and visual arts, led by experienced artists and educators. These hands-on labs are not only opportunities to learn technical skills, but also platforms for self-expression, experimentation, and collaboration. Participants are encouraged to reflect on their surroundings and transform their ideas into creative outputs that speak to contemporary issues.

Beyond artistic training, the project places a strong emphasis on sustainability, active citizenship, and community involvement. Through group activities, public events, and collaborative projects, young participants will be invited to reimagine urban spaces, address social challenges, and contribute to a shared vision of a more inclusive and vibrant city.

“La Città che sale ” aims to nurture a new generation of creative citizens—individuals who are not only artists, but also active agents of change. By connecting creativity with civic engagement, the project supports personal growth, strengthens social bonds, and promotes a culture of participation and responsibility within the community.
